I also have a T61 Thinkpad. I have been booting with the live cd and everything works perfectly with the exception of the sound card.
Before I removed Vista the sound card was listed as "Soundmax Integrated Digital HD Audio". Is there a driver package available for this card? I was thinking that MAYBE it is not on the CD, but could be available in a repository. The CD I have is OpenSolaris 2008.05. I was very impressed with it and would love to install it, but I need to have sound. Any help would be appreciated. This message posted from opensolaris.org
