Sendmail is semi dependent on a correct Hostname , a correct Ip adress and a working DNS configuration /server/client
to see what goes wrong you can do: Login as root: # truss -rall -wall -vall -fao /tmp/tracefile /usr/lib/sendmail -bd -q15m & read the /tmp/tracefile with the filebrowser/ editor of you choise. This message posted from opensolaris.org
