As a longtime user of Linux dists(Debian,Ubuntu,SuSE) (and newcomer to the Solaris world) I am used to the secure check of packages we get from repositories,apt-get refuses to install any package not cryptographically signed by the secret key of the distribution package release key. Does anything similar exist with IPS OpenSolaris package management system? If not, right now what is the better way to be sure of the integrity of the packages we download from the OpenSolaris repository?
