It worked yesterday, now the Ubuntu box tells me: "mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting <mountpoint>".
The filesystem is exported on the OpenSolaris box (b_124) and has been working. I did not change any config on either box. My OSX box can still mount the NFS shares fine, so I'm rather confused about Linux not being able to. The update mechanism on the Ubuntu box was actually misconfigured, so it would not have been able to download any updates. I copied almost 2TB of data from an Ubuntu box to this OpenSolaris box over NFS, so I know it worked before. I've tried vers=3 and mount -t nfs4 on the Ubuntu box, same message. I also can't find any logs for the NFS server on the OpenSolaris box. I found some postings online mentioning they should be in /var/nfs, but I don't see anything there other than a couple directories. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
