I've been asking somewhat similar questions myself. Since you refer to the ufs
or zfs option at install my guess would be you are working with sxce which has
no .com home. Maybe you would like to mirror the root home at non export
level/or at a ufs admin if that is possible. The root home/zfs in sxce already
has semi-private and private directories at root source level. But export/home
is suppose to contain the independent work otherwise your machine number is
merely part of the switch of a wire. Supercomputing is way over my head.
