Should be supported by the standard Solaris scsa2usb kernel module. When you run "cfgadm", does it list an usb-storage device? Is the dvd device listed in "iostat -En" output? Are there any (scsa2usb / usb) error messages logged to /var/adm/messages? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
