After updating to b125 x86 my integrated Marvell Yukon 88E8001 NIC is no longer configured by nwam. The driver (YUKONXsol v8.19.1.3) still loads and attaches and does not report any errors. As far as I can tell nothing changed in the device configuration. An entry for this link is also missing when i run dladm (except for show-linkmap).
I can still use ifconfig to plumb and setup the interface manually and everything seams to function as expected. If I then restart nwam or try to manually configure with the graphical tools the interface gets unplumbed and with an error stating that the interface does not exist. I get this same error if I try to plumb a interface like yukon1 which really doesn't exist. Entries from network-physical:nwam.log ifconfig: unplumb: SIOCGLIFFLAGS: yukonx0: no such interface sh: line 1: /etc/nwam/ulp/check-conditions: not found dladm show-link LINK CLASS MTU STATE BRIDGE OVER nfo0 phys 1500 up -- -- vboxnet0 phys 1500 unknown -- -- dladm show-phys LINK MEDIA STATE SPEED DUPLEX DEVICE nfo0 Ethernet up 100 full nfo0 vboxnet0 Ethernet unknown 0 unknown vboxnet0 dladm show-linkmap NAME LINKID CLASS MEDIA FLAGS nfo0 1 phys Ethernet 3 vboxnet0 2 phys Ethernet 3 yukonx0 3 phys Ethernet 2 If more information is needed I will be happy to provide. It's possible that I am missing something obvious because I've been staring at this all afternoon and its all starting to get muddled. Any help will be most appreciated. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
