Hi all,

Looking for some help / tips to get opensolaris up & runnung.
I've downloaded 2009.6 livecd.
My mobo has nVidia onboard and will only boot using VESA option.
Once booted, gnome is allright, but I have no network...
The onboard nic is recognized as MCP79 - but has no driver.
I tried connecting 2 different USB nic's, one is Linksys USB200, and the other
is a Sitecom.
Both seem to load usb_mid driver, but will not get an IP adress.

How can I get any of these 3 to work?

Next, I installed on my localdisk.
Install ran fine, but, I cannot boot into this installation. At the moment it
should need to boot in VESA I think.
I've tried to enter grub at boot, and add VESA at the kernel line, but this
does not seem to work...
How can I enable VESA during boot?

Also, I would like to be able to mount / modify the hd install using the
livecd...
How can I get the hd to mount on the livecd??

Thanks for your help!

(I also tried the ddtool_21, but this seems not to report for 2009.6 version.
Is a ddtool_22 stand alone version available?) I can't load from internet as I
have no network...)
