Since you plumbed IP ( Using crossbow) in host OS. when you ssh. it's going to host instead of guest. I think what you should do is, In the virtual box network settings use bridged adapter and try that how it works.
I've Host OS as Vista and Guest OpenSolaris. I could ssh anywhere from network. only thing is it can't be NATed IP and should be bridged or host only adapter. Thanks -Gopi -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
