I have been trying to run Opera is some stable shape or form for a
while. I have been trying to track this issue down by trying new builds,
but I get the same error.

I have moved ost of my mail and browsing work to Evolution and Firefox.

Here are the errors I see:

Opera just dies, I mean it is gone.

If I start Opera with truss -f -o /var/tmp/opera.$$ /usr/local/bin/opera
I see the following at the end of the log file.

Truss says this:

5415/1: read(3, 0x080459C0, 32) Err#11

5415/1: read(3, "0118 6 G\0\0\0\0 <01\0\0".., 32) = 32
5415/1: Incurred fault #6, FLTBOUNDS %pc = 0xFDBC1B0E
5415/1: siginfo: SIGSEGV SEGV_MAPERR addr=0x004500AD

5415/1: siginfo: SIGSEGV SEGV_MAPERR addr=0x004500AD

How do I go about trying to solve this issue. Is the problem with XWin
or is there some thing Opera is doing to the file system that triggers
the segfault.

Pointers anyone ?

$ uname -a
SunOS plj2keg 5.11 snv_126 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris

I can try Opera v9.64, 10.0, 10.01 and latest beta 10.10 I get the same
crash in the same place.

I am aware that libuutil.so.1 is a library private to Sun.

Thank You
Paul
