[osol-help] Create new system then add old boot disk to zpool

My release 5.11 version snv_111b has died, but the boot disk contains a single 
zpool containing the o/s and valuable data. As I have a second disk available, 
I'm thinking of building a new system on it. If I do that, how will I later on 
be able to add the old system's zpool to the new system in order to recover the 
data from it?
