Hi folks, I'm trying to boot a system via the opensolaris live USB but it is hanging pretty much immediately
the boot device is USB, with a live image of opensolaris snv_126 from genuinx. it work without problems on a thinkpad - so it's not a problem with the image or the device. the server i am trying to install it on is an intel scb2 board with 1GB RAM and the following bios: AMIBIOS (C)1985-2003 American Megatrends Inc., Copyright 1996-2003 Intel Corporation SCB20.86B.0077.P22.0302041652 SCB2 Production BIOS Version 2.12 BIOS Build 0077 i get the grub menu OK and am booting into text mode, but i only get this far: SunOS Release 5.11 Version snv_126 32-bit Copyright 1983-2009 Sun Microsyste (note the lack of "ms" at the end - is it a conspiracy!?! ;) ) and suggestions on boot flags, etc greatly appreciated p -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
