Why do you install some minimalistic unofficial version if you want X, Gnome and so on? :-)
Use official version from here http://www.genunix.org/distributions/indiana/osol-dev-127-x86.iso or take a look at here http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev/en/index.shtml and here 'man pkg' -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
