Hi, Yesterday I initiated an upgrade from snv_111b to build 128 via:
pkg set-publisher -O http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev opensolaris.org pkg image-update Everything seemed to be progressing nicely, then it printed some warnings, then I moved on to other things. I checked it this morning, expecting it to be finished... but it's still running. PID TTY TIME CMD 19505 pts/2 1190:36 pkg I wouldn't expect this update to take more than an hour or so. Not sure what it's been doing for the past 19 hours. Perhaps it's become sentient. The complete output from pkg is below. I did a 'kill 19505' then 'beadm destroy ...' and tried again. So far, it's doing the exact same thing. Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Cheers! root at weyl:~# pkg image-update DOWNLOAD PKGS FILES XFER (MB) Completed 789/789 53497/53497 831.15/831.15 PHASE ACTIONS Removal Phase 13685/18026 Warning - directory etc/sma/snmp/mibs not empty - contents preserved in /tmp/tmpQbPEFP/var/pkg/lost+found/etc/sma/snmp/mibs-20091205T143627Z Removal Phase 18026/18026 Install Phase 47454/47755 The 'pcieb' driver shares the alias 'pciexclass,060400' with the 'pcie_pci' driver, but the system cannot determine how the latter was delivered.
