Hi Ralph,

It may have just not been added to the HCL yet (which you can do
yourself if you determine it works). There are a couple of things you
can try. Assuming your HP is currently running Windows, you can run the
Device Detection Tool
<https://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/CDS-CDS_SMI-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductDetail-Start?ProductRef=SDDT-2.2-MP-G-F
 at CDS-CDS_SMI&Origin=ViewProductDetail-Start>
which will scan your system and let you know which devices are and are
not compatible with OpenSolaris.

Alternatively, you can boot the Live CD. On the desktop you'll find a
Device Driver Utility, which essentially performs the same task as the
Device Detection Tool. Just running OpenSolaris from the Live CD will
let you know how well it works on your box.

Both tools provide the option to submit your results back to the HCL.

Regards,
Brian
