I have just made that upgrade (to snv130) together with the latest VirtualBox (3.1.2).
On the positive side - a Virtual Box guest (WinXP) now works fine with my usb printers, scanners etc. - 111 + vbox knew nothing of them, and Sane in 111 didn't recognize the scanners at all. So that's progress to me. On the negative side - in my case 130 sometimes fail to restart (no issues of that sort with 111) e.g. it gets to the Gnome screen and then locks up, so the only recourse is to switch off at the power point - not good! At startup and shutdown I get error messages (I'm a newcomer and don't understand enough to recognize what they are about) so obviously all was not well with the image-update - perhaps not really as "automated" a process as one could hope for ?! So what's "pressing" ? If it was for "work" I'd wait for the next "stable" release; if it's "private" try it and see at own risk. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
