I do understand there are (or were) issues with offering products with strong
encryption for download, BUT, I understand that Solaris 10 currently ships with
strong encryption, and for releases prior to update 4 one can patch Solaris 10
to obtain strong encryption. I further understand that Opensolaris is supposed
to ship with strong encryption capabilities. What I don't understand is if
this simply has not happened yet. If this is the case, is there anything we
can do in the meantime to enable strong cryptography? I further understand
that if you build ON yourself, you can enable strong cryptography?

Thanks for any clarification.
