Hi, I am trying to get VirtualBOx 3D acceleration to work on OSOL B132 with VBox 3.1.4 Beta2 . The PC is the Shuttle SN78SH7 barebone with the AMD Phenom II 965 with 4 GB RAM and the PNY NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800 graphics card.
I tried VBox 3.1.2 first but did not get it to work so I swithed to 3.1.4 Beta2 First, I have fixed an Issue with OSOL B132. this one: http://opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa ... &tstart=15 there is a problem with the symlink to an OPENGL library. This error has been corrected. with virtualbox I have tried the following: 1) Installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. with IO-APIC 2 vCPU with AMD-v and Nested paging. Installed guest additions in windos safe Mode. The Windows performance assesment gives just the value 1.0 for graphics performance. ( i.e. the lowest possible rating ) 2) installed Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. with IO-APIC 1 vCPU with AMD-v and Nested paging. Installed guest additions in windos safe Mode. The Windows performance assesment run crashes, and the whole virtual machine chrashes and Aborts. What do you reccomend that I do Now ? //Lars -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
