The system: i7 Asus P6T v2 Deluxe mobo ICH10R southbridge set to run in RAID mode. 4x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black drives (split up into two separate RAID 1 sets, so 2x 1TB raid 1 sets total)
The first raid set, let's call it windows, has...well...Windows 7 on it. The second raid set (remember, two totally different physical disks, NOT a partition of the windows set) currently has Gentoo installed on it. With gentoo I just had to type in dodmraid and perform some extra voodoo to get grub loaded into the correct MBR. But it appears there is no dmraid on the 2009.06 CD. So...is it possible at all for me to install opensolaris onto this platform WITHOUT turning off BIOS raid or will I need a raid card for that?
