Apparently nothing is wrong. It seems the problem is related to deduplication.
I disabled dedup (zfs set dedup=off zpool1) and it has been running for 2 days
straight now.
Scrubbing still seems to take forever (150 hours?) and stalls after after 32
hours at ~24% and then the percentage actually starts regressing. The activity
lights are all still lit up like a christmas tree though. I stopped the
scrubbing after that.
