I am relatively new to OpenSolaris. I wanted to use it's ZFS and have the need of Virtual Machine technology.
The crash happens with both VirtualBox and xVM Hypervisor; I have tried Windows2003, Vista, XP Pro that whenever there is constant network activity from the guest, e.g., download large updates, webcam streaming, the guest and the host will crash; once it's crashed, there will be no ability to connect to the host, no display on the host, but strange enough you can ping the host; I had to push the reset button to bring the host back but this certainly not the way to go for anyone. I would appreciate it if someone let me know where to start looking for traces and root cause it. I've tried system logs, found nothing there. Thanks. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
