I bought a new Dell inspiron 580 and trying to install opensolaris 2009.6 Is there any known issue with Intel core i3 ?
Firstly LiveCD booted to console login prompt and there was no GUI, I could overcome this by generating xorg.conf and modify it. But still not able to get GUI on reboots.. And also could not detect Dell wireless lan card. Could you please help me in setting this Dell 580 (http://www1.ap.dell.com/sg/en/home/desktops/inspiron-580/pd.aspx?refid=inspiron-580&s=dhs&cs=sgdhs1) to run OpenSolaris?
