I'm happy to report that I grabbed the latest Xorg from cvs today and compiled the X display driver for my ATI Radeon Xpress 200M and it works perfectly. I haven't tried secondary display yet but the LCD works which is what I use with my laptop 90% of the time.
I'm confident that once this version of Xorg is released that we'll have a perfectly functioning X server for ATI's latest products.
