So, you have the SATA controller configured for
(P)ATA emulation mode?  AFAIK, current Solaris Express
/ snv releases do not support SATA controller in native
SATA mode.

Build 22 should already include the SUNWnge package.  The
[i]nge[/i] driver is bound to the following two pci devices:

% grep nge /etc/driver_aliases
nge "pci10de,56"
nge "pci10de,57"

Does your nic hardware use one of the above two pci device IDs?
