[moved from opensolaris-announce to opensolaris-help] Before I start, it occurs to me that since we now have JDS on opensolaris.org, I need to be more careful about how I label things. What I announced was just the ON bits for build 26.

Is Nevada build24 Mark> (which the links contained in the URL you cite get one to) to be Mark> used to build (Nevada) b26 (and that is, therefore, what the Mark> OpenSolaris sources point to)? Or is there another URL that Mark> actually gets me to a (built, iso-downloadable) version of build Mark> 26? There are several links on www.opensolaris.org/so/downloads. I assume you're talking about the "Solaris Express: Community Release" link. If that's incorrect, let me know. The Solaris Express release of build 26 hasn't hit the streets yet. We had the OpenSolaris ON bits ready a little early this time and decided to deliver them now. So if you want an ISO image of 26, you'll have to wait. (Shouldn't be long now.) You can build the build 26 ON bits on any recent Solaris Express or OpenSolaris build. I'm not sure of the exact definition of "recent", but I believe 24 is okay. (Actually, if anyone knows that we need something after 18 for builds, please let me know.) Sorry about the confusion. mike _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
