Hello all, I'm having difficulty starting the installer for Nevada b27a.
CD 1 boots alright, but once it starts to load the installer, it starts spitting out "Sense Key:Media Error" error messages over and over again. Since the message mentions "IOMEGA", it seems logical to presume it is related to my iomega cdrw drive. The device path matches too. After awhile, it becomes apparent it isn't getting anywhere. I have considered the possibility it is a bad burn, but I've re-downloaded the ISO image, unzipped it without error and burnt another copy just to make sure. The same error as described above occurs. I then burnt a fresh copy of Nevada b22 Disc 1 (using the same brand of cdr media and cdrw-drive). This booted just fine. So I'm presuming its not a bad burn. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be the problem? I'll appreciate your advice.
