I am encountering an installation problem of S10 U1 on HP DL385. I hope someone can help me.

The machine was running S10 FCS. When I installed S10 FCS on the machine, on the first installation screen, I pressed F4 to load driver from floppy (S10 does not have a driver for HP Smart Array disk controller). Then I chose the option "Interactive Text" for installation. After the installtion was done, I was prompted to insert the floppy disk again. Everything worked fine and I used the machine for a few months without any problem.

But it seems things have changed for S10 U1. Now the option "Add Drive" appears with the option "Interactive Text" on the first installation screen (there are 5 options altogether). So I chose "Add Drive" (F5) to load driver from the floppy. After that, I was taken to the graphical-based installation; so I was not prompted to insert the floppy disk again during the installation. The installation went fine. But it couldn't boot the OS after that because Solaris couldn't find any disk (because the driver is not there).

So the question is how I can add driver during S10 U1 installation?

By the way, I couldn't install S10 U1 on HP DL360 at all; it just hangs on the first screen. And I had no trouble at all installing S10 FCS on the machine.

Shouldn't S10 U1 be better than S10 FCS?

Please help.
