Do you have built-in video (ie, directly on the motherboard, as opposed to a video card)? If so, this will share the system memory, giving you less than 256M of memory available to the system. The Solaris Express Community Edition (SXCE) requires a minimum of 256M since about build 27. You'll probably need to upgrade your memory, and probably will want to anyway, since you're sitting right on the edge.
Any SXCE should install on that system, although depending on your network card (again, probably built in), you may need to find the proper network driver. http://homepage2.nifty.com/mrym3/taiyodo/eng/ is the best place to go for Open Source Network drivers for Solaris x86. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
