This would come from the cc-version (or cc64-version) make targets at
the top level. A few possibilities:
- You haven't installed SUNWonbld so you're missing cw, which
is required
- You installed SUNWonbld but have set ONBLD_TOOLS to the
wrong value (it should almost certainly be /opt/onbld)
- You have CC or $(MACH)_CC set in your environment
You might try using bldenv with your env file and then running
$ make -d cc-version
from usr/src to see what's going on.
