There are some posts on how to install. They worked for me but Solaris would
not boot after the instal.

When you boot the install edit the boot command by adding the following:

kernel /boot/multiboot kernel/unix -B install_media=cdrom,atapi-cd-dma-enabled=0

Someone posted something about needing to do the same when you boot after the
install but I have not figured how to do that yet. Using the same command
results in the install being started again (or at least it tries to install).

Maybe there is some other command to disable dma that needs to be added.

Hope this helps.
