We have application that is designed for Solaris 8. It required [b]IPSEC/IKE[/b] implemented between app server and database server. I know its possible on Solaris 8 but our [u]requirement is that IKE should be generating automatic keys to exchange every 24 hours.[/u] If we move to Solaris 10 it is possible but it is not an option as per application requirements. Has anyone successfully implemented solaris 8 IPSEC/IKE with automatic key exchange between two server? both app and database server will be running solaris 8. please advice if there is any other good means of achieving this!
