If ScreenSaver is just missing from menu....add "/usr/openwin/bin" to PATH.

You didn't really need to create the Solaris 10 partiton using Partitiion 
Commander.  Just free up the desired diskspace by shrinking the Windows 
partition(s).  Solaris install will create the Solaris partition for you from 
the unused disk space.

Something must have gone wrong during the install (for hostname to be 
UNKNOWN)...Did you perhaps edit /etc/hosts, /etc/inet/ipnodes/, /etc/nodename 
trying to connect to the internet?

Are you using JDS Desktop?  Problems with hostname can really mess with 
gnome-session initializaton times.

Did you "auto-mount" user home directory?  If yes, this will also cause 
problems if hostname change has occurred from editing system configuration 
files, or a sys-unconfig.

It should only take about 30 minutes to re-install OpenSolaris x86....which 
would probably be quicker than tracking down all the possible hostname 
corruption events.
