I am trying to script this into the install. point and click won't work. I was told by a sun employee that I can delete /usr/share/applications/star.desktop but I want the app to dissapear from the menu as well.
I assume there are some sun style packages that install star office 7. So I'm guessing the best method my be to use pkgrm somehow. But what packages would I feed this pkgrm command as arguments? We will install staroffice 8 into AFS file space so we don't need a local install of this application. I was also told I could get rid of the other icon by deleting /usr/share/nautilus/starthere-link.desktop file.
