Hey guys..

I recentley decided to re-install OpenSolaris/Solaris Express..

I had it up and running without any problems, with the exception being that
during install I allowed it to "auto-layout" and it only allocated 5gb for the
\ directory.. which didnt allow me much space to hold stuff I wanted to share
across the network..

I talked to some people and decided to re-format as I did not have much or any
files on the box I needed to keep..

I popped the drive out and into a windows machine and formatted the drive.. no
problem.

When I went to re-install, per my guru's advice, I laid out the file system as
follows..

I allocated the entire 160gb partition to the solaris partition.. then
constructed the file system like this..

slice 0 - / everything but 5gb
slice 1 - / swap - 5gb

I tried many configs.. making the swap 2gb and upto 5gb..

each time, the install gets done, and it says that it cannot load boot blocks
so the install fails..

I re-start, without the DVD (which I installed from) in the drive.. it says
about I believe "nested trap" then reboots..

I cant figure out what I have done wrong..

Can anyone shed some light on the situation?

Ive got a 2ghz processor with 512 ram on a 160gb hard-drive..

Like i said, this was up and running I just dont know what I did wrong this
time.. is that boot configuration wrong?

Thanks for all the help

Ryan
