No, your fine with what your doing. The Installer runs in 32-bit mode even if your installing on a 64-bit capable machine. When the installation is finished and the machine reboots, the Solaris kernel will load either 32-bit or 64-bit if the machine supports it. > Another question: can I install OpenSolaris to a USB disk and boot from it?
