Just boot from the install DVD and use the upgrade option.
Also, if so, would it also be able to deal with ZFS, since I moved /usr, /opt
and /var to it. Having those directories being updated directly would be
favorable over copying them over yet again.
That I don't know about. I don't know if the installer can deal with
ZFS at all yet or what it will do.
