Hi list,

DNS issue is wired on my side.

# uname -a
SunOS Nevada 5.11 snv_65 i86pc i386 i86pc

I have two network devices:bge0 and iwi0, iwi0 is a wireless card.

1) disable iwi0, enable bge0, move my laptop from office to home,
plug the network cable before system startup,
   everything works fine.
2) disable iwi0, enable bge0, move my laptop from office to home,
plug the network cable after I log into the system,
IP address is correct, DNS server list is wrong, which keeps the
server list at office.

[Question]: is there any command need to be issued to restart the
network service?

3) Disable bge0, enable iwi0, at home,
IP address is correct, DNS server list is wrong, which still keeps
the server list at office

4) Enable bge0, disable iwi0 at home, plug the network cable before
system startup, the system can get the correct DNS server list, now
disable bge0, enable iwi0, the wireless card works properly.

5) as 4), the wireless card works properly, reboot the system, the
resolve.conf is keeping correct server list, but this time the
wireless network doesn't work.

[Question]: how to set wireless network device correctly?

Any suggestions are really appreciated!

Thanks,
-Aubrey
