Help! Where the heck to I look to track down what's happening.
In my continuing saga things are getting worse each day. Besides the random
warnings, I've been getting random OS crashes.
So, I tried changing which eSATA ports are used to see if the problem changed
with changing ports. What I discovered is that using certain ports will panic
OpenSolaris. Even with the somewhat stable ports, I've had one crash. I believe
it has something to do with the non maskable interrupts, because I sometimes
get pcplusmp NMI errors. I'm getting real frustrated.
Some other issues... If I make either of the boards PCI masters in the BIOS, I
can't boot. If I load both the boards BIOS ROMS, I can't boot. So I don't load
the board's ROMs and I set them both as slave.
Does anyone have something like this working reliably? If so, what is the
version of the Norco non-raid bios you're using?
