I recently installed opensolaris on my external USB HDD; I couldn't install in on my internal HDD (due to several reasons) so I had to install it somewhere else
The problem now is that I cannot boot from my USB HDD. Normally I could change the boot sequence in BIOS and put "USB" on a higher level than internal HDD but my BIOS is protected by a password which I don't know (it's the company's laptop) so I can only boot from CD or internal HDD. My question now is: can I somehow install a boot loader either on my internal HDD or on CD and configure it to "see" both my windows (internal HDD) and my opensolaris (external USB HDD)?
