----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, I also have ALL the above same errors/bugs/problems "...cpu_acpi: _PSS package not found..."with snv70 installation..., on Hardware: MoBO: Asus P5B Premium Vista Edition CPU:Intel Q6600 Quad cores. Pioneer DVR212D Sata DVD R/W drive (connected on jmicron sata contoller) (2) 74Gig Sata HD's managed via RAID0 thru bios on the onboard Intel ICH8R sata controller (for WinXP test install) (1) spare sata drive (AHCI mode) on the ICH8R controlller as well (for bootable OpenSolaris installation) - I actually bought the board hopeing for strong Intel, chipset support, (unfortunately finding out here and elsewhere there may be some issues as well with the Jmicron sata/pata controllers and Intels ICH8R SATA controllers as well ? with opensolaris. -also tried disabling intel speedstep, and acpi in Bios -but no avail. -I'll update the prtconf -v,... info to "bugs" if you need, but running the above command(s) didnt seem to show anything really bad. -"dmesg" gave no output at all. I guess this board is too darn new yet :) This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
