Hi,

I'm part of a team developing a digital preservation solution for the National
Library of Australia. I've been looking at potential operating systems to do
some of the file analysis, and we're considering opensolaris. However, I was
wondering if anybody knew to what degree opensolaris supports mounting foreign
file systems.

We need to be able to mount a variety of file systems, currently including:

NTFS
FAT16, FAT32
HFS and HFS+
UFS
EXT2
EXT3
ZFS

and potentially older or more esoteric systems as the need arises.

I think that opensolaris can handle most of these, but it's been hard finding
information on the net. Does anybody know if these file systems are supported,
either natively, or through a third party tool (such as NTFStools?).

Thanks,
Nick del Pozo
