I'm currently in a desperate search for a primary OS for my laptop - a recent
Santa Rosa-based HP Pavilion dv6570er. That's why I'm looking forward to try
that Indiana thing. The biggest problem for me is the hardware support. I'm
talking about a sound card, a fingerprint reader and a web-cam.
Those are:
Authentec's fingerprint scanner;
The 1.3 Suyin webcam
Realtek's ALC268 soundcard. The main problem is the internal mic.
So, I'm wondering whether all this would be working under OpenSolaris? If so,
or if it is planned to work in the nearest future, then I'm waiting for Indiana)
