From-scratch nv 76 install this evening. Where do ssh logs go by default?
/etc/ssh/sshd_config says SyslogFacility auth LogLevel info /etc/syslog.conf says *.err;kern.notice;auth.notice /dev/sysmsg which man tells me routes to the console and additional consoles. There's no other reference to auth messages (one commented-out line). Does the default syslog config *really* not log auth messages? WHY?????
