I've downloaded :
Eclipse Platform
Version: 3.2.0
Build id: M20060629-1905
...to use on my SXCE b76 machine at work.
It does load, however as soon as I try to use a "file open" or "file
save" dialog, Eclipse crashes and states the following on the command line:
(Eclipse:1590): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Couldn't add match rule.
(Eclipse:1590): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Failed to activate daemon:
Connection is closed
Now, I'm beginning to think that it may not be Eclipse's issue but it
may be the SWT below the Eclipse.
I have a few questions:
1. There is no Eclipse log of any worth
* it seems to fail from underneath Eclipse totally
2. What can I do to get more information that would be useful to debug?
3. Where's the right place to bug report this if it is a bug:
* SWT
* Eclipse.org
* Bugs Opensolaris
4. Anyone else seen this?
Incidentally, looking through the source code, it claims that "something
is malconfigured" if one sees "Couldn't add match rule"...but I don't
know *what*.
