If you can figure out how to get to a commandline interface. (Terminal
or console).

A couple of things to check. Netstat -i to verify you have the correct
default route. ifconfig -a to make sure your IP settings are correct.
Try pinging your own IP and the default gateway's IP., then ping the
IP of your DNS server.

If they all work you need to check and fix your DNS settings..

(Try typing 'host www.yahoo.ca')
