Did you add "dns" to hostname resolution in /etc/nsswitch.conf ? There's
a template file /etc/nsswitch.dns which you can copy to nsswitch.conf if
that helps ?
Once you've done that, do "svcadm restart name-service-cache" -- that
should fix stuff.
