All right here we go again....
1) we need to find out which chipset this NIC uses.
run /usr/X11/bin/scanpci
can you see a network NIC in the list ? which chipset is it ?
2) locate a driver for this chipset .
three possible sources:
included on the opensolairs DVD, ( unlikely as it doesnt work
presently )
downloadable from the chipset Vedndor ?
Public domain driver ?
http://solaris-x86.org/software/drivers/
3) install driver if found.
probably using pkgadd(1m) or some propriatory install script
YMMV.
