This happens to me with Project Indiana and Nexenta guests, Windows XP 32bit
host, and Core 2 Duo e6300 processor.

On Project Indiana specifically:

1) Grub to "_" takes 4 seconds.
2) "_" to "SunOS Release 5.11" takes 3:55 (three minutes and 55 seconds)
3) "SunOS Release 5.11" to Gnome login takes 1:30.
4) Gnome login to desktop takes 20 seconds.

Part 2 is what concerns me. It sits there at the black screen using 100% of
one CPU core but no disk activity. For 4 minutes it sits there thinking. Is
that supposed to happen?

Removing $ISADIR from the Grub bootup commands makes no difference. Warm
rebooting from the console with "reboot" makes no difference.

(For comparison, Ubuntu takes about 1:00 to get from Grub to the Gnome login,
and OSX 10.5 takes about the same. A FreeBSD 7 base install and a cut down
version of Vista both take about 30 seconds.)

Thanks for the input.
