Hi, I'd like to give OpenSolaris a try. Could OpenSolaris experts tell which one fits me?
Let me say a little bit about my background: I'm using Ubuntu Gutsy (quite familiar with it) with compiz-fusion, avant window navigator, mac4lin, jdk6 u10 b09, intellij idea 7 (that's what I need) on a compaq C714NR laptop (Intel SATA, Intel X3100 video, Broadcom wireless, Realtek wired and conexant audio). I want to have all those things working on my laptop. Is that possible? If it is, should I use Community or Developer edition? If it's impossible, no problem, I'll continue using Gutsy and wait for the next release of OpenSolaris. Regards.
