I am using the Zte Mg 880 modem on B72 to connect to internet . i was using the pppd and set up the things according to
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/wwan/ it was working fine but one day i enable disable some service and after that ,,i m facing a problem with this connection .. or i don't know what i did but its sure that i didn't modified anything regarding pppd after few seconds/minutes there is no receive , and once it is down it never comes up . as i connect it , it works fine but soon it shows 0 receive . although the link is up . even i tried to do tricks described in blogs.sun.com/psum/entry/solaris_and_usb_communication_device and made entry in the /etc/system . about the timeout , but it didn't solve the problem . then i tried the script from the http://blogs.sun.com/roller/resources/vita78/cdma_ugen_bulk_timeout but the problem is still there . the chat script is nodetach term/1 460800 passive defaultroute noccp novj crtscts user 9358672958 password 9358672958 usepeerdns connect '/usr/bin/chat -V -t15 ABORT "BUSY" ABORT "NO CARRIER" "" "ATZ" "OK" "ATE0V1&F&D2&C1&C2S0=0" "OK" "ATE0V1" "OK" "ATS7=60" "OK" "ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0" "OK" "ATDT#777" "CONNECT" ""' can u tell me what can be the source of the problem and how to fix that.
